Based in our Brisbane office, the Project Development Group (PDG) is tasked with becoming a Centre of Excellence for the undertaking of studies and delivery of significant and sustaining capital projects within BMA. The Project Development Group provides project delivery services to BMA through the management of all phases of the investment life cycle.

We currently have an exciting opportunity for a Business Analyst to work with our Development Team, providing long term investment evaluation and strategy decision support.

Tasked with the preparation and maintenance of detailed valuation models for growth and improvement projects, the successful candidate will be responsible for the analysis of variances, trends and risk, along with the identification of key business drivers and opportunities. Aligning growth and improvement projects with department strategies and goals, you will have a significant involvement in project identification and selection. Reporting to the Study Manager, you will assist in the overall development of planning systems, improving design execution within short term scheduling processes.

With site based mining construction / operations experience, you will possess relevant tertiary engineering or commercial qualifications. An understanding of financial analysis and modelling is required, whilst demonstrated working knowledge of decision analysis techniques including deterministic and probabilistic evaluation will be advantageous.
