For a Mining Engineer with 5-10 years mine planning experience in OC environments, Brisbane is a pretty good spot to be.

Finding a new job shouldn't be time consuming, you don't have to browse through pages of ads and make dozens of follow up calls, because that's my job.

Mine Planning Engineer

Are you looking to get away from small mining towns? West Wyalong offers all the mod cons and great sporting facilities, but also a more diverse culture than the mining towns you are used to. It's predominantly a farming town, so you'll experience that relaxed but hard working, generous community feel.

It's only 3.5hrs drive to Sydney too, so you can spend weekends in the Blue Mountains or head to the city for a night on the town, or a beach getaway.

This is more of a short to medium term planning role, but you'll be working under the Senior Planning Engineer pretty closely, working on LOM and ore reserve updates so you'll get training in those areas.

If you're looking for a change of scenery and have 2-5 years OC experience (in any commodity) with solid software skills, apply now and I'll give you a call to discuss the role in more detail.

If you’d like more information about the role above, or the other roles I’ve mentioned give me a call on 1300 88 32 11 or email lindsay@minejobs.com.au
