With the gold price strong and production pushing ahead we are seeking an experienced Senior Planning Specialist to undertake a key role within the group to manage a team of planners and schedulers across the sites fixed plant processing environment and underground mobile mining fleet. This company is a world known mining house with operations throughout Australia and the world catering for career development and job satisfaction.

This is a unique role allowing you to manage your team covering the sites maintenance planning activities and computer based maintenance management system. You will interact and liaise with the production department on site to ensure maximum availability and plant performance.

To be successful in this role you will be required to have a demonstrated background in maintenance planning superintendent or management roles, ideally with a mix of fixed plant and underground mobile equipment maintenance planning experience.

Within this position you will be required to:
* Lead and support the maintenance planning team in a safe and efficient manner
* Effectively use and manage maintenance systems
* Overseeing planning and scheduling of routine and breakdown maintenance
* Maximise machine availability through continuous improvement
* Ensure KPI's are established and met
* Liaise with mining and processing functions
* Build a strong relationship with departments on site

The successful applicants will be maintenance planning professionals, coming from a trade or engineering background, with a strong requirement being experienced in computer based maintenance management systems and related computer systems such as MS Project.
