Due to ongoing growth, the company requires the expertise of a Geotechnical Engineer to join their regional project team based in Kalgoorlie, Western Australia. Working as part of the technical services team, you will work in an number of underground mine sites and your main responsibilities will include:
* Providing advice to mining operations in regards to geotechnical issues
* Carrying out geotechnical investigations and reporting
* Ongoing management of stress conditions and rock stability
* Collection, management and interpretation of geotechnical data
* Ensuring all statutory geotechnical standards are adhered to
To be considered for this position you will require relevant tertiary qualifications in a geotechnical discipline along with 2 years geotechnical experience in an underground mining environment.
