As a Mining Engineer, you will report to the Technical Services Superintendent in the Technical Services Department.

You will have a lead role in providing customer focused engineering services to achieve production targets through the analysis of mining efficiency, effectiveness and future planning.

Opportunities will exist for future rotation into other planning/operations roles within the Department.

The successful candidates must be able to demonstrate the following:
• A consistent and proactive commitment towards ensuring compliance with all health, safety and environmental policies
• Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage a variety of stakeholders
• Previous experience as a mining engineer
• Attention to detail and the ability to demonstrate initiative and work without supervision

To be considered for this role you must have:
• A degree in Mining Engineering
• Experience with Draglines, Truck and Shovel or Drill and Blast
• A strong commitment to safety and familiarity with Continuous Improvement procedures
